Hi, I was wondering if there are any voter registration drives happening on the behalf of Democrats? Do you know which group is heading these up? Thanks.

    Hello!

Jen here from The Times Herald-Record. I’m reaching out because it looks like you may have advertised with us back in Nov 2017, before I joined the company, and I’d love to connect to see if I can help with your current efforts.

In addition to the newspaper, we have some great digital advertising options, including an extremely robust email database.

Would you have time to meet sometime in the next week? Thanks for letting me know.

    Kindest Regards,

    Jen Cherniske

    Greetings,

I’m NYS District 104 Asssemblyman Frank Skartados’ policy director and a member of his campaign staff.

Would you please let me know when your committee is meeting over the next two months so that we may schedule a time for him to address the committee to seek its nomination for the election this fall?

    Thank you,

    Alexander Kelly

I want to be involved in helping in any way I can for the 2018 midterm elections. I’m willing to drive people to get registered to vote and take them on election day to vote. Please let me know what I can do to help.

Is this the real page for the Orange County Dems? is there another page that is updated regularly?

I don’t understand, the election was over in November.

Isn’t there anything that the Dems are doing right now that would be better to have on the page?

Aren’t there elections we should be getting ready to support candidates?

Aren’t the dems marching on January 20th.

I think it would be better to shut down the page for now until it can be updated.

Thank you for listening to my concerns.

Holiday events? How many are calling NW town officials to support Judge Thorpe? Community protests may work.

Hi there! Is there a Deer Park Democratic Committee? If yes, can you please provide contact info and FB page? Gville Dems trying to confer with adjoining towns. Thanks!

It is So Sad that in the Town of Deerpark, there were absolutely no options. All positions, offices, were uncontested. The Democratic party in Deerpark is virtually non-existent. It is very Sad. Why does the committee have 3 members of one family and three members of another family on the committee? Does the County have any answers?

    HI

We will not be in the area on Nov.7 so we went to Goshen to cast an early absentee ballot. As usual there were few democratic candidates to vote for. So you can imagine our shock when we received a mailer from the party with three candidates who were NOT ON the ballot when we went to vote. What the hell is going here?? Its bad enough that we have few choices now they are not even on the ballot??

Collin- I’m a little late to the party for your post, but I’d like to recommend a book that I’m reading which provides an academic but very accessible explanation of the central importance of dignity in the context of conflict resolution and tense negotiations. The book is titled “Dignity: Its Essential Role in Resolving Conflict” by Donna Hicks.

Hope you see this and that you get a chance to take a look.

My name is Collin Cusack, and I am an Academic Coach and Advisor at Mount Saint Mary College in the City of Newburgh. I would like to extend an invitation to your committee. My fellow coaches and I have begun holding monthly programs addressing issues of Identity on campus. These programs are in the form of short panel sessions, where participants answer some pre-written questions, as well as some audience questions. Our first discussion was on LGBTQA+ Identities. Our next session, which I would like to extend you an invitation to sit on our panel for, is titled “Let’s Talk Politics”. This program will not focus on partisan issues, but rather, on how to facilitate conversation with others in these highly divisive times. Now more than ever, students are seeing the “ugly” side of political discourse. With this in mind, we would like to compose this panel of both faculty, and those with political experience, who can briefly speak to, and about, the importance of creating and maintaining open, respectful, and constructive conversation. If you would be interested in sending a participant to this program, it will be held Thursday March 30th at 4pm . Please let me know if you are interested.

Are you organizing Democrats to attend Republican member of Congress Town Hall Meetings like the Tea Party did to Democrats in 2011? It would be a chance to express Democratic views and to put Republican Congressmen on the spot. Republicans have a history of pretending to be “locals” who are protesting the Democrats. Let’s turn the tables on them. In 2000 Republicans flew in to Florida from all over the country and pretended to be ordinary Florida citizens protesting the election recount.
